The Dacentrurus stegosaur was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived in the late Jurassic period. Originally, it was known as the Omosaurus by the famous British palaeontologist Richard Owen.

Dacentrurus means 'very sharp tail' and they grew to be about 7-8 metres in length and height and weighed 11,200 lbs (5080.2 kg).
