The Galliano Fall Winter 2006 collection took from the  idea of "Americana Gothic" as stated per Galliano backstage after the show in an interview with "Style". The collection saw multiple references to american patriotism, such as frayed fragments of the flag stitched into skirts & jackets. Yet also taking aspects from the current american psychological state in the mid 00's in a poetic & romantic way. Hinting at gothic & grunge aspects, while working with the treatment of fabrics garments would be dusted or waxed to bring life to the garments.

This beautiful dark gray button up can be seen with various key elements from the collection used. A washed look & very lightly distressing is seen throughout the shirt. Incorporating a blend of materials such as silk & cotton, details such as the lines accentuating the feminine body along the waist & back gives the garment a beautiful shape.
