Does this come with clear coat, or do I need to apply it?

This arrives as bare carbon fiber. A clear coat is highly recommended to protect the weave from UV exposure and maintain the finish long-term. Sand and prep the surface before applying your chosen protective clear coat.

Do I need to seal the edges before installation?

Yes. Carbon fiber edges exposed to moisture can absorb water over time. Seal all cut or raw edges with epoxy or resin before final install to prevent delamination and maintain durability.

Will the carbon weave yellow without UV protection?

Carbon fiber can fade or yellow if left unprotected in direct sunlight. A quality clear coat applied immediately after prep will keep the weave vibrant and protected from UV damage.
