CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Tianello garments are always prewashed or garment dyed so they are always "Pre-Shrunk". Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron (if needed).

The strongest of natural fibers, silk retains its shape, drapes well, caresses the figure, and because of its high absorbency, it is easily garment dyed in a variety of deep colors. This 100% Washable Silk Crêpe de Chine is woven to have a supple, organic feel, unlike many fabrics woven with synthetic fibers. With a 12 mommes weight factor, our Eco-friendly silk of choice is lightweight but is suitable for sewing into many body styles designed for women's silk clothing.

THE STORY

Our pullover Bree Blouse has a classic round neckline with a frontside, centered pinch pleat. Generous 3/4 length barrel sleeves have gathered arm openings. Sumptuous draping flows downward to a hip-length squared bottom hem that has a fashionably longer backside. The backside also features a surplice wrap (starting at the neckline) that forms a stylish V-backline, and is further finished with handkerchief points to the hips. Subtle single-needle stitching throughout, coupled with a comfortable full-bodied fit, provides the wearer a fashion sensibility that is both flattering and sophisticated. This silhouette pairs well with pants, leggings and designer jeans, making it perfect for travel, work, or play.

Our mesmerizing Medina fabric print features the renowned “paisley”. This imagery draws inspiration from Persian botanical shawl patterns made popular by European textile manufactures since the early 1600’s, and especially from the town of Paisley in central Scotland, from which the fabric pattern takes its’ modern name. Origins of the exotic floral motif reach back to ancient Babylonian waterdrop symbols of a date palm shoot, later stylized into elongated curved shapes by Kashmir artisans. Our Medina print here showcases a mélange of stylized paisleys rendered in “watercolor motif” impressionist artistry, and in pattern repeat. This superb fabric print wonderfully enhances the elegant drape of our sumptuous Silk Crêpe de Chine.
