The stages include bulk, absorption, float, storage, equalisation (for lead-acid types) and a reconditioning mode for deeply discharged batteries. This approach extends battery service life compared to simple constant-voltage chargers, which is particularly relevant in applications where batteries sit partially discharged for extended periods.

Bluetooth connectivity is built in rather than added via an accessory. Using the VictronConnect app, an installer can select the correct battery preset, adjust charge parameters, view real-time charge data and review historical charge logs.
