A very smart blended Scotch from Woven, the Leith-based whisky maker with a commitment to interesting blends and transparent practices. Experience N.14 Kaleidoscopic is a rich and complex expression made with six components including whiskies from Tullibardine, Loch Lomond and North British distilleries. The palate offers fruity, floral and woody notes followed by flavours of orchard fruits, marzipan and light smoke.

Nose: Perfumed notes with marzipan and blossoms.

Palate: Apple, autumn leaves and smoke.

Finish: Faint Smoke with spice and oak.

About Woven Whisky

Woven Whisky is a blending studio located in Leith, Edinburgh, founded in 2020 by three friends who sought to change the way blended whisky is made. They aim to create a more personal, less industrial, and more enjoyable experience for whisky drinkers. Woven Whisky blends different influences from around the world, using top whiskies from Scotland, England, Ireland, the USA, and other regions. Their blending process focuses on creativity, community, and collaboration, aiming to redefine blended whisky and bring unique experiences to the taster.

We’re not creating Woven alone. Our approach to whisky-making is itself a blend of different influences. There’s the chance encounters, inspiring anecdotes, connections with passionate makers, and introductions to friends of friends. There’s the inspiration from elements within and well outside the world of whisky. There’s the resurrection of some obsolete and forgotten traditions and techniques. And the creation of a few new ones.

All of these influences converge in our tiny studio in Leith.And they guide our decisions each day as we work to change perceptions of what blended whisky can be.
