The Surface Rug, a muted tribute to the beauty of simplicity, was designed for Massimo Copenhagen by Morten Bo Jensen of GROUNDWORK Studio. It represents the idea of harmony between softness and geometric, architecture and nature, and is hand-tufted from the finest wool available in New Zealand.

Each rug appears to be a study of tone and texture. The delicate color shifts and the graceful structure allude to shifting light, shadow, and depth, much like how natural shapes change over time. Its monochromatic color scheme, which complements both minimalist and layered, diverse designs, is the source of its timeless versatility.
