The Pelikan Pura isn't a vintage pen but when a totally mint, new in box example of a good quality pen comes along I find it hard to resist.

The pen is constructed in contrasting highly polished and matt aluminium and has an Iridium tipped polished stainless steel nib, and a flexible clip.  It is very well made, and has a very solid, substantial feel, the posted length of 15.5cm. is very much on the large side.  The cap 'clicks' in place on the end of the barrel, enhancing the solid feel of the pen.

The packaging is superb, it has a 'sliding' box, full instruction leaflet, unopened box of cartridges, and a drawstring pouch, all immaculate.  The Guarantee instruction leaflet is dated  for 2016 but the seller wrote the wrong model number, it's a P40 Pura, not a P36. 

Made in Germany, the Pura is an impressive looking pen with excellent build quality.
