It builds a 24 lb ice bank in an internal water bath, providing the thermal mass required to handle high-volume serving periods without temperature spikes.

Symptoms of Failure: If drinks at the tower are coming out warm or foam-heavy, the chiller has likely failed to build an ice bank. This is often caused by a seized agitator motor or a refrigeration leak. A 'frozen' water bath (ice bridging) is another common symptom, which prevents the product coils from making proper thermal contact with the cold water.
