This ceremony, open to all regardless of faith, honors the profound tradition that a child’s name shapes their destiny. Ìyálòrìṣà Omioki offers a personalized, intimate setting for families to bless and celebrate their newborn. Rooted in ancient customs, the ceremony focuses on the child’s future while supporting parents in preparing a clear path for their journey. It includes traditional rituals and can be tailored with additional elements aligned with Ìyá Omioki’s expertise and values.

Service Includes

• Facilitation of traditional indigenous Yorùbá spiritual ceremony
• Set up and clean up of sacred altar space (excludes the set up and clean up of entire venue)
• (1) 1-hour ceremony planning appointment prior to ceremony 
• Temporary use of supplies, equipment, furniture, or objects used in ceremony
• All materials needed to facilitate traditional ritual activities

All naming ceremony materials are handmade using local or ethically sourced West African, organic, gmo-free, fair-trade ingredients.

Please note that you must provide the space for the ceremony. This can be in your home or at a rented indoor or outdoor venue. The set up of the altar space for the naming ceremony and materials for activities are included in the cost of the officiating. This set up does not include venue decor or catering.

Location: The cost of this naming ceremony package is for naming ceremonies that will take place at a venue that you have selected in the San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, Hayward, San Leandro, Daly City, South San Francisco Areas.
