The Beal Jammy is a pre-sewn Kevlar cord loop. Kevlar is a fireproof material, with a very high melting point, above 500 degrees, which is why it is suitable as a cord in all situations of rubbing and overheating, such as typically the Machard and Prusik knot. Normally purchasable by the meter, the Beal Jammy is a Kevlar ring available in two lengths, 50 and 60cm. The pre-sewing of the ring offers maximum guarantee of tightness, without any sliding and without the application of any knots

The Beal Jammy is a rope loop lanyard made with an aramid core and polyamide sock. Used as a Prusik it can be used on single and half ropes, on one or both half ropes. Perfect for creating a self-locking knot increasing safety during a rope descent, or for creating a ascender for a fast hoist. It can be used to lengthen a protector and for quick protectors.
