Nest Scientific aseptic transfer caps allow for the convenient transfer of liquid in and out of Erlenmeyer flasks which greatly reduces the risk of contamination. The cap comes with pre-assembled tubing, connectors and gas exchange filters for convenience. 

The multifunction caps offer additional parts to improve on the simpler bi-directional design:

• The cap features a built in hydrophobic membrane for enhanced gas exchange. This means the shaker flask can be place directly into an incubator, no need to change vessels.
• The external transfer tube features a T-junction with a one way Luer lock sampling valve. This allows small samples to be removed for testing. It also solves the problem of liquid remaining in the tubing after use. Simply attach a Luer lock syringe and draw off the excess liquid. 
• A larger, barbed hydrophobic filter that can be attached to a vacuum or pump source.
