1940's white straw ruffled tilt hat. Body is an oval ivory twill fabric trimmed in 2 layers of stiffened white straw ruffles. In-between each ruffle is 3 navy bows and a 4th one on the crown. Attached at the crown and on the sides is a thick navy blue netting that falls to the back.

Interior is finished with a thin ivory fabric along with the standard petersham ribbon. There is an elastic placement band attached.

Label is the New York Creations along with a store label of Best & Co.

Excellent condition showing very little wear or age.

Inner measurement is 10 x 9 inches. Measuring on the outside, side to side is 11 inches, front to back is 12. All measurements include the ruffle.
