The Fly By Downwind board was designed to be fast through the water allowing an easy take off. The flat bottom makes the board stable. The slight recessed deck also helps with stability and gets your feet closer to the foil, making the board feel smaller than it it. The custom built makes it strong and light. Gwen's 8'4 x 16.5" x 105L weighs 11 lbs.
