Hardline Jacket – Master Supply Co.

The MSC Hardline is a trucker jacket built from vegetable-tanned tea-core cowhide. The leather is pigmented on the surface, with a dyed rust-brown base layer underneath. As the jacket wears, the top pigment gradually breaks down, allowing the underlying color to come through naturally. The result is hones contrast and patina created through use, not artificial distressing.

This leather is vegetable tanned using traditional methods, a slower and more controlled process than modern chrome tanning. The structure is firm and resilient, allowing the jacket to hold its shape while developing character over time. Wear shows through abrasion, creasing, and exposure, producing depth rather than surface breakdown.

The pattern follows a traditional trucker silhouette. The fit is intentional and structured. A buckle-back allows for subtle waist adjustment as the leather settles. Western yokes and restrained pocket embroidery reference heritage construction without exaggeration.

The jacket is lined with durable red cotton twill, chosen for comfort, breathability, and long service life. Stitching, hardware, and finishing are specified for durability and repairability, prioritizing function over excess detailing.

The Hardline is constructed using the most rigid hides from each leather batch. These hides are separated during cutting based on stiffness and reserved exclusively for this model. As a result, the jacket has a firmer hand and a longer break-in period than other styles using the same leather.

Each jacket is designed in Toronto and built in our own dedicated workshop in Pakistan. We oversee every step — from pattern drafting to leather selection to final inspection. Every jacket is individually photographed, measured, and quality-checked before leaving the shop. We produce in small batches using full-grain leathers, custom hardware, and offer complimentary custom sizing on all builds.
