This is Art Lindsay's fourth full-length album under his solo name, released in 1999. Co-produced with Andres Levin and Melvin Gibbs, the album was produced in Bahia (Salvador), Brazil and New York. The album also features the participation of Peter Scherer, a close friend from the Ambitious Lovers era, as well as Brian Eno, Vinicius Cantuaria, Siro Baptista, and other talents from various fields. The solid experimental spirit and cool, shimmering beauty of fantasy that have been prominent in their previous works have been retained, while strings and horns have been effectively used to give the music a more pop and vivid color. This is a monumental masterpiece, a completion of Art's style of "avant-pop," and a next phase in the series of masterpieces that followed.
