This work was issued as part of a rare edition of only 250 portfolios containing 21 lithographs exploring the landscapes, history, and spiritual atmosphere of Israel through contemporary artistic interpretation. Printed on fine Arches paper, this example is hand signed in pencil by the artist and designated Hors d’Commerce (H.C.), indicating a special proof outside the regular numbered edition. The composition’s subtle tonal rendering and aerial perspective create an almost dreamlike vision of an ancient city and surrounding terrain, emphasizing atmosphere over strict realism.
