Liuli Crystal Protector Offering Cup: Eight Auspicious Symbols & Floral in Relief Serkyem for Golden Drink Offering, Available in 2 Sizes
This exquisite Liuli crystal serkyem is a radiant vessel for protector offerings, crafted with exceptional detail and spiritual symbolism. The cup is beautifully adorned with the eight auspicious symbols and floral motifs in relief, representing blessings, abundance, and the flourishing of virtue.
Traditionally used in serkyem (golden drink) offerings to Dharma protectors, this offering cup embodies both elegance and sacred purpose. The translucent Liuli material captures and reflects light beautifully, inspiring clarity, purity, and devotion.
A serkyem, or Dharmapala offering set, consists of a chalice and a basin used in ritual offerings to protector deities. Traditionally filled with tea, wine, or tsok substances, it symbolizes continuous protection and the flourishing of the Dharma. The term serkyem derives from Tibetan, where ser means “gold” and kyem means “drink.” The eight auspicious symbols: the endless knot, victory banner, wheel of Dharma, parasol, golden fish, treasure vase, lotus, and conch—represent the sacred offerings made to Shakyamuni Buddha upon his enlightenment.
